JOB DESCRIPTION
PACKAGING/KIT BUILDING - FULL TIME
| Location: | Laser Express, 531 Commerce Prkwy. Versona, WI 53593 | |
| Reporting Structure: | Reports to the Operations Manager | |
| Hours: | 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM – Monday through Friday | |
| Responsibilities: | • Follow instructions to safely and accurately package components | |
| • Ensure components meet company quality standards for sale | ||
| • Ability to lift up to 25 LBS regularly and up to 60 LBS total | ||
| • Read a picking sheet and pull inventory from assigned locations, double checking to ensure correct quantities are consistently pulled | ||
| • Ability to use or be trained on foam in place packaging machines | ||
| • Ability to spend the majority of shift standing/walking | ||
| • Maintain a professional, positive attitude with co-workers and other departments | ||
| • Keep work area organized and clean | ||
| • Ability to recognize issues and communicate them to management | ||
| • Other duties that may be assigned by management | ||
| Qualifications: | • Dependable | |
| • Detail oriented, accurate | ||
| • Quick learner with a strong mechanical aptitude | ||
| • Be able to lift heavy objects for extended periods of time | ||
| • Be able to follow directions | ||
| • Good verbal communication skills | ||
| • Work well with others in a fast-paced environment | ||
| Education: | • High School graduate or equivalent | |
| Printer/Copier repair certifications – helpful but not mandatory |
