JOB DESCRIPTION
PART OUT TECHNICIAN - PART TIME
| Location: | Laser Express, 531 Commerce Prkwy. Verona, WI 53593 | |
| Reporting Structure: | Reports to the Part Out Team Lead | |
| Hours: | 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM – Monday through Friday | |
| Responsibilities: | • Safe disassembly of laser printers using a variety of small hand tools (power drill, screwdriver, metal picks, etc.) | |
| • Make determinations as to which components are usable/rebuildable for resale | ||
| • Ensure that usable/rebuildable components are stored safely with no compromise in component quality | ||
| • Make determinations as to which components are not usable and dispose of them per established company procedures | ||
| • Ability to use or be trained on multiple lifts | ||
| • Maintain a professional, positive attitude with co-workers and other departments | ||
| • Keep work area organized and clean | ||
| • Ability to recognize issues and communicate them to management | ||
| • Other duties that may be assigned by management | ||
| Qualifications: | • Dependable | |
| • Detail oriented, accurate | ||
| • Quick learner with a strong mechanical aptitude | ||
| • Be able to lift heavy objects for extended periods of time | ||
| • Be able to follow directions | ||
| • Good verbal communication skills | ||
| • Work well with others in a fast-paced environment | ||
| Education: | • High School graduate or equivalent | |
| • Printer/Copier repair certifications – helpful but not mandatory |
